Mr Perry Kennedy

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Mr Perry Kennedy, a British national, joined the Group as CEO in April 2018 with a distinguished career of global leadership experience across the offshore and marine support industries including senior executive and management roles with GulfMark Offshore, Cable and Wireless Marine and McDermott. He has a track record of driving business change, modernisation, and sales and profit growth.

He has worked in and led organisations across Europe, Africa, the Americas, and Asia and joined Gaylin Holdings direct from his CEO position at Chowgule Lavgan Yard, India’s flagship rig and ship refit facility. Perry spent 12 prior years with GulfMark Offshore, Inc. capping as Group Senior Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer for global operations and several years as Managing Director of EMEA operations, the company’s largest region.

Within a decade of earlier education to Class-1 Marine Engineer, Perry held chief engineering postings on several offshore construction vessels around the world, subsequently leading senior teams in various engineering, operational and commercial capacities with large companies in the oil & gas and marine sectors.

He served for 5 years on the Board of the UK Chamber of Shipping where he was Chairman of their offshore division and has enjoyed seats on several sector related Boards.

Mr James Parsons

Global Managing Director

Prior to his appointment in March 2018 as the Group's Global Managing Director, James Parsons, has had extensive experience and exposure to business transformation and operations within the multinational maritime and oil and gas industries. After a 15-year career as an Officer in the Australian Army, James worked within the fields of Project Management and Business Consulting in Australia and Scandinavia. Over the years, James has operated across Australasia, North and South East Asia and Europe performing roles at the CEO, Managing Director, General Manager and Global Corporate Functional levels within recognised corporations such as the Wilhelmsen and Swire Groups. James is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Australia and has a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Business from James Cook and Newcastle Universities in Australia. James has also completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD, Fontainebleau.

Ms Victoria Yong

Senior Vice President, Finance

Ms Victoria Yong joined the Group as Senior Vice President, Finance in March 2018. Prior to joining the Group, she was the Chief Financial Officer of Katrina Group Ltd, a listed catalyst company with SGX and General Manager of Corporate Affairs of Makino China Co., Ltd. Between 1997 and 2015, she held various finance positions and spent the last 18 years working in the capacity of Financial Controller and Operations Director in multi-national corporations and Singapore listed companies in the manufacturing, energy and engineering sectors. In the course of her profession, she has gained valuable regional experience from her postings to countries such as the People’s Republic of China, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Myanmar. Ms Yong holds a Master Degree in Business (Professional Accounting), a Graduate Diploma in Accounting from Victoria University of Technology (Australia) and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from RMIT (Australia). She is a non-practising member of both the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (CA Singapore) and Australia Society of Certified Practising Accountants (CPA Australia).

Ms Jae Teo

Deputy Chief Administrative Officer

Ms Jae Teo was appointed Deputy Chief Administrative Officer on 5 February 2016 and manages the Human Resource (“HR”) and Information Technology (“IT”) functions of the Group. She is also in charge of cross-functional solutions and aligning business processes and controls across the Group. Ms Teo began her career in the banking industry before joining the Group’s production departments in January 2011. She then rose through the ranks to become Senior Business Process Manager where she oversaw the streamlining and integration of business process and controls. Shortly after, she took on additional portfolios in Insurance, IT and HR on a Group level. She was also involved in various key projects such as the Initial Public Offering of the Group, the SAP implementation and acquisition projects which involved Group-wide process integration.
